Animation director and artist Charles Martin “Chuck” Jones brought to life some of the most iconic cartoon characters in animation history. He perfected the wisecracking Bugs Bunny and the exasperated Daffy Duck and created a host of other characters, including Pepé Le Pew, Wile E. Coyote, and the Road Runner. Explore his unparalleled talent for comic invention with 23 of Chuck Jones’ animated films and more than 125 original sketches and drawings.

The opening day celebration will be full of exciting stuff to do and see. One of my favorites is a special viewing of cartoons with cereal bars and milk included! There will also be an animation lab. British Academy Award-winning animator Tony White will lecture on classic Warner Bros.-style animation techniques. A Q&A with Jones’ daughter and Emmy Award-winning producer Linda Jones Clough and Jones’ granddaughter Valerie Kausen. Plus lots more.

Among ongoing activities, I will be there creating comics: Chuck Jones-Themed Comic-Making with Local Cartoonist Henry Chamberlain: Stop by to watch comic-making in action, learn about the process, or get a portrait made. I am proud to be able to share this with you:
